HistorialSe afilio a la AFA en 1957 y comenzo a jugar en el Campeonato de Primera D. El primer ano fue subcampeon y al siguiente logro el titulo y el ascenso. En 1960 subio a la B y en 1966, logro el ascenso a Primera. Bajo en 1967 a la B y en el 72 a la C. En el 79 retorno a la B1984 gano nuevamente el campeonato y el derecho de volver a Primera. En el primer ano del torneo realizo una gran campana y logro el segundo puesto junto a Newell's.
