Follow-up to a San Lorenzo de Almagro 1997 batch sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the Boca Juniors and Vélez Sarsfield batches. The first pass processed 16 of an original 20 referenced PDFs (14 added as bio stubs, 2 excluded — Domingo Cardozo, Adrián Coria — both still registered to their prior clubs through Clausura '97 per their own trajectory tables); the remaining 4 (Luiz Fernando, Lussenhoff, Manusovich, Meloño) were logged as "missing" at the time. This follow-up batch received the full 27-file folder: the 16 already-processed files plus 11 new ones — the 4 previously-missing names plus 7 never seen before (Núñez, Paredes, Passet, Paulo Silas, Rivadero, Saric, Tuzzio). Of those 11, 8 are confirmed genuine Clausura '97 San Lorenzo squad members and added here. 3 are excluded: Lussenhoff and Meloño turn out not to be squad members at all, contrary to their earlier "missing" label — both are incoming Apertura '97 signings per their own trajectory tables (Lussenhoff still at Toros Neza in Mexico, Meloño still at Uruguay's Rentistas, through Clausura '97). Paredes is a third, newly-found exclusion for the same reason — still registered to Ferro Carril Oeste through Clausura '97.

Profile

Naturally a libero, though Castelli uses him at right back for San Lorenzo. Tall, strong, and quick to cover space vacated by teammates; carries the ball out of defense with real composure, and is a decent header of the ball. Specifically at right back he offers almost nothing going forward — a purely defensive role there.

Career to date (as of mid-1997)

An unconventional route into the club — at 16, living near San Lorenzo's training complex, he tagged along with a friend's son who had a trial lined up; when that boy backed out at the last minute, Tuzzio was asked if he wanted to try instead, and said yes without hesitating. He was one of six kept on from around 120 hopefuls that day. Started in the sixth division, worked up to the fifth, then spent a year mixed in with the reserves. Manager Veira later put him on the bench for a match against River, where he made his senior debut on 11 December 1993, a 1-1 draw — he hadn't even trained with the first team before that, and came on for Néstor Lorenzo with seven minutes left. Became a starter in Apertura '94, playing 17 matches mostly at right back, then 2 more in the 1995 Clausura title win over Rosario Central on the final matchday. Loaned out to Quilmes after that, where he was a regular starter as libero and was voted the tournament's best player in that position. In the last campaign chances were scarce until Castelli gave him a run at right back late on, which he took well — 5 matches, 1 goal, in Clausura '97. Has five younger siblings: Laura, Alejandra, Marcelo, Claudio and Daniel.
