This is a bio stub, not a graded Empire FGA profile. There is no video evidence behind this page — no
OBI/SII, no core-12 sub-metrics, no ultProxy. Every field below comes from a single secondary source: the
PC Fútbol — Base de Datos Apertura 97 player database (Dinamic Multimedia, 1997 copyright). Facts
(dates, heights, match/goal counts) are reproduced directly since facts aren't copyrightable. The database's
own scouting prose has been paraphrased, not quoted, to respect its copyright.
Internal inconsistency in the source, left unresolved rather than silently picked: the trajectory
table below credits Ruiz with 2 appearances for Boca in Clausura '97 (roughly Feb–Jul 1997). But the same
document's own narrative says his Primera debut came on 10 August 1997 against Banfield — a date that
falls in Apertura '97, not Clausura '97. Both can't be right. This stub reports both exactly as the source
gives them rather than guessing which one to trust; treat his Clausura '97 involvement as unconfirmed
until checked against a second source.
Part of a second Boca Juniors 1997 batch (11 PDFs) sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the first
11-player batch (Maradona, Latorre, Lapaglia, Calvo, Vivas, Traverso, Pineda, Matellán, Fabbri,
Arruabarrena, Abbondancieri). Of the 11 files in this batch, only 3 were new, verified Clausura '97 Boca
Juniors players — Rosada, Ruiz and Toresani. 2 were incoming Apertura '97 signings still registered to
their prior clubs that season (Palermo at Estudiantes LP, Solano at Sporting Cristal in Peru) and were
excluded. 2 (Riquelme, Sergio "Manteca" Martínez) were skipped because they already have full,
video-graded Empire FGA profiles elsewhere on the platform. 4 (Muñoz, Óscar Córdoba, Traverso, Vivas)
were re-uploads already covered by the first batch, checked and confirmed identical — no action taken.
Profile
A product of Argentinos Juniors' academy. Versatile up front — can play as a wide forward or drop deeper into a playmaking/enganche role. Rated for pace, technique and ability, and scored regularly at youth level, though the source notes he's more of a passer than a natural finisher. Not expected to start straight away; will have to compete with more established forwards for a squad spot.
Career to date (as of mid-1997)
Formed in Argentinos Juniors' youth ranks, moved to Boca Juniors in 1996 as one of the promising names in Argentine football. The source's narrative places his Primera debut on 10 August 1997 against Banfield (2-0) — see the inconsistency flagged above.
