Part of a San Lorenzo de Almagro 1997 batch sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the Boca Juniors batches. Of 20 PDFs referenced, 16 arrived in this session (4 — Luiz Fernando, Lussenhoff, Manusovich, Meloño — were referenced but never transferred, despite two attempts, and are not yet processed). Of the 16 received, 2 (Domingo Cardozo, Adrián Coria) were excluded: both were still registered to their prior clubs (Colegiales, Platense) through Clausura '97 per their own trajectory tables, only arriving at San Lorenzo for the following Apertura '97. The remaining 14 are new, verified Clausura '97 San Lorenzo first-team squad members, added as bio stubs. Three of the 14 — Abreu, Gorosito and Angelucci — share a name with a pre-existing HTML file already on disk (Sebastian_Abreu.html, Nestor_Gorosito.html, Gilberto_Angelucci.html) that could not be opened for inspection (OneDrive placeholder files, not hydrated locally) and have no entry anywhere in the live player database. To avoid any risk of overwriting whatever those files contain, this bio stub uses a fuller name variant and a distinct filename; the original files were left untouched.

Left-sided midfielder. Quick, and gets forward down the line often and with real threat, usually to cross for a better-placed teammate — the source flags a weak scoring return as his main shortcoming. A former rugby player; that background is cited as the source of his physical power when he attacks. High work-rate, covers his flank for the full 90 minutes.

Career to date (as of mid-1997)

Youth product of Deportivo Español, alongside his brother Diego, still in the club's lower divisions per the source. Made his Primera División debut for Español on 29 May 1994, a 2-0 loss to Independiente, then played sparingly the following season before becoming a starter from Apertura '95. Racing Club wanted him when they sent Pompei to Boca, but San Lorenzo bought his contract instead — an unusual situation, per the source. Still playing for Español in Apertura '96 when he scored his first senior goal — against San Lorenzo in a match Español won 1-0 — days before signing for the team he had just beaten. Rarely started under manager Castelli in his first season at the club, used mainly to cover an absent starter or off the bench, but the source says he always performed well when called upon. Played 8 matches, 1 goal, in Clausura '97.
