This is a bio stub, not a graded Empire FGA profile. There is no video evidence behind this page — no OBI/SII, no core-12 sub-metrics, no ultProxy. Every field below comes from a single secondary source: the PC Fútbol — Base de Datos Apertura 97 player database (Dinamic Multimedia, 1997 copyright). Facts (dates, heights, match/goal counts) are reproduced directly since facts aren't copyrightable. The database's own scouting prose has been paraphrased, not quoted, to respect its copyright.
Follow-up to a San Lorenzo de Almagro 1997 batch sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the Boca Juniors and Vélez Sarsfield batches. The first pass processed 16 of an original 20 referenced PDFs (14 added as bio stubs, 2 excluded — Domingo Cardozo, Adrián Coria — both still registered to their prior clubs through Clausura '97 per their own trajectory tables); the remaining 4 (Luiz Fernando, Lussenhoff, Manusovich, Meloño) were logged as "missing" at the time. This follow-up batch received the full 27-file folder: the 16 already-processed files plus 11 new ones — the 4 previously-missing names plus 7 never seen before (Núñez, Paredes, Passet, Paulo Silas, Rivadero, Saric, Tuzzio). Of those 11, 8 are confirmed genuine Clausura '97 San Lorenzo squad members and added here. 3 are excluded: Lussenhoff and Meloño turn out not to be squad members at all, contrary to their earlier "missing" label — both are incoming Apertura '97 signings per their own trajectory tables (Lussenhoff still at Toros Neza in Mexico, Meloño still at Uruguay's Rentistas, through Clausura '97). Paredes is a third, newly-found exclusion for the same reason — still registered to Ferro Carril Oeste through Clausura '97.
Profile
Right-footed libero, strong and physically imposing, with real capacity to break forward from the back line. His main asset is executing the sweeper role a manager assigns him — he reads the game well enough to step across and cover behind his own defenders. His main flaw is overcommitting to those interceptions, which has cost him needless penalties conceded.
Career to date (as of mid-1997)
Arrived at San Lorenzo on trial in the 1997 preseason, pass in hand, after spells at Grêmio and then Rio Branco in Brazil. Manager Castelli tried him out across the preseason Mar del Plata and Mendoza tournaments and signed him without hesitation, having been shopping for a central defender. Debuted in Primera on 23 February 1997 in the Clausura's opening round against Banfield, a strong showing that won the fans over. A poor match against Platense in which he was responsible for two opposition goals cooled that relationship with supporters, and it never quite recovered. Played 17 matches, 1 goal, in Clausura '97.
