Part of a San Lorenzo de Almagro 1997 batch sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the Boca Juniors batches. Of 20 PDFs referenced, 16 arrived in this session (4 — Luiz Fernando, Lussenhoff, Manusovich, Meloño — were referenced but never transferred, despite two attempts, and are not yet processed). Of the 16 received, 2 (Domingo Cardozo, Adrián Coria) were excluded: both were still registered to their prior clubs (Colegiales, Platense) through Clausura '97 per their own trajectory tables, only arriving at San Lorenzo for the following Apertura '97. The remaining 14 are new, verified Clausura '97 San Lorenzo first-team squad members, added as bio stubs. Three of the 14 — Abreu, Gorosito and Angelucci — share a name with a pre-existing HTML file already on disk (Sebastian_Abreu.html, Nestor_Gorosito.html, Gilberto_Angelucci.html) that could not be opened for inspection (OneDrive placeholder files, not hydrated locally) and have no entry anywhere in the live player database. To avoid any risk of overwriting whatever those files contain, this bio stub uses a fuller name variant and a distinct filename; the original files were left untouched.

Profile

Can play at right- or left-back. Strong physically and an excellent marker, but far from purely defensive — gets forward often, and his overlapping runs down the flank are a regular source of danger, though he has never scored in the Primera División. His short stature is flagged as a weakness in aerial duels.

Career to date (as of mid-1997)

One league title with San Lorenzo (Clausura '95). Debuted in the Argentine Primera División on 15 September 1991, but only became a regular starter from Clausura '93. Originally a left-back, he was moved to the right by manager Veira once Manusovich took over the left-back slot — the position Escudero had played coming through San Lorenzo's youth ranks. Won the Clausura '95 title when San Lorenzo beat Rosario Central at the "Gigante de Arroyito" while Gimnasia La Plata lost to Independiente. Lost his starting spot to Tuzzio after an ankle injury during Clausura '97. Started at right-back until that injury, from which he had not recovered by the time of writing; solid, dependable form before it. Played 11 matches, no goals, before getting hurt in Clausura '97.
