Part of a San Lorenzo de Almagro 1997 batch sourced from the same PC Fútbol database as the Boca Juniors batches. Of 20 PDFs referenced, 16 arrived in this session (4 — Luiz Fernando, Lussenhoff, Manusovich, Meloño — were referenced but never transferred, despite two attempts, and are not yet processed). Of the 16 received, 2 (Domingo Cardozo, Adrián Coria) were excluded: both were still registered to their prior clubs (Colegiales, Platense) through Clausura '97 per their own trajectory tables, only arriving at San Lorenzo for the following Apertura '97. The remaining 14 are new, verified Clausura '97 San Lorenzo first-team squad members, added as bio stubs. Three of the 14 — Abreu, Gorosito and Angelucci — share a name with a pre-existing HTML file already on disk (Sebastian_Abreu.html, Nestor_Gorosito.html, Gilberto_Angelucci.html) that could not be opened for inspection (OneDrive placeholder files, not hydrated locally) and have no entry anywhere in the live player database. To avoid any risk of overwriting whatever those files contain, this bio stub uses a fuller name variant and a distinct filename; the original files were left untouched.

Profile

One of the more promising products of San Lorenzo's academy in recent years. Plays as a midfielder or winger on either flank, occasionally as an attacking midfielder. Quick but fragile; no top-flight experience of note yet, but those who watched him come through the ranks predict a bright future.

Career to date (as of mid-1997)

Named by José Pekerman in Argentina's preselection for the U-20 squad that went on to win the tournament in Malaysia, but was ultimately left out of the final group. A product of San Lorenzo's own academy; debuted in the Primera División on 17 March 1996 against Racing, in a Copa Libertadores match in which San Lorenzo fielded several youngsters (a 1-0 loss, Carrario scoring), leaving a strong impression on the club's fans. Played two more matches before the regular starters returned once the senior side was eliminated from the Libertadores by River, sending the youth players back to the reserves. Went the entire Apertura '96 tournament without a first-team minute. Starred for the reserve team in the brilliant, championship-winning 1996/97 season — 26 appearances, 3 goals. Mostly a reserve-team player again last season; played just 1 senior match in Clausura '97, with his best form again coming in the reserve championship.
